I have in my possession a Forgeworld Lucian Pattern Warhound borrowed for the sake of using it as a guide to build two more. I am hoping that with a real one sitting here these will be done really well.



Never realized the middle toe was longer til I saw the real thing.

Foot Pads and mounting brackets, didn't know the foot pad had a slant on the back either:



Ok, so mine is a mm too long still, error in measurment, but overall I am still happy with them. Have yet to finish the mounting brackets before I move on up the leg.

So far on this project I learned that when cutting the scrolls that they should all be done all at once to ensure the sizes are the same and that when cutting a sheet of styrene into very narrow strip that you should clamp the sheet and ruler to the table before you start scoring. This keeps the sheet from shifting and gives a better chance at straight cuts. wasted three strips trying to do it without the clamps.

Naw, I spent 35 bucks in bulk and will be building for months.

Cant wait to see some smaller titans. Ill be watching this build as well as the reavers

I have thought of casting many things in resin, but I prefer styrene. I kinda want to do some small molds for things I use a lot, like vents, exhausts, turbine fans and maybe some computer and control panels. It is out of my absolute need right now though. Do you ever cast anything?

Fair enough, Vik. I will attempt to appease to gods of rivets. This project doesn't begin inearnest until next week though.

Ok, fairly long time coming on this update. But to my defense I just started working on it again the day before yesterday. I am hoping to have these bad boys standing form the waste down with at least 75% detail done NLT Saturday night. Wish me luck.

A layout of everything done so far:

Each Warhound will have one foot in a semi raised position, one will be the left, the other the right. Each one will be posed differently.



And a close up of one of them with the ever present Chaos Knight Companion for scale:


Now, keep in mind that I took the measurements for these directly from My buddies FW Warhound, so I know they are VERY Close to scale, the pelvis, however, needs some work and the both of them may need to be redone. I am going to wait until I see all the detail on them before I decide.

Wow, amazing stuff..... I'd most likely get bored and turn a foot into some kick ass terrain, nothing says awesome like a smoking foot.
