Sorry, this isn't really a true report, but this is a battle that took place at the local GW today - 2 Reaver Titans, 1 Warhound, 1 Phantom Titan, 2 Revenant Titans, plus 2 Stompas and tons of tanks and infantry - versus everyone else (lots of infantry, tanks, a few Stompas, a couple Shadowswords/Baneblades and a Vortex Missile Launcher). Predictably, it was a massacre, so a bunch of people packed up and let at lunch time (right as my Wolf Lord was going to kill a Stompa with his Frost Blade too!!). However, here's the pics I got of the game:

Whoa, that's a lot of titans. Too bad you couldn't use gargantuans. Otherwise, I'd stick my 4 daemonlords and Fateweaver in there.

Oh if someone with Gargantuans showed up then they could have used them. They'd probably have been put on the Titan's side though.

That board looks crazy crowded. How could anything see over anything else to shoot? Distinct advantage to the titans.

Yeah it was an extremely one-sided affair - and to top it off, the Titans got the first turn! Luckily it was an objectives game, so if we'd actually finished it we were practically guaranteed to at least tie it, and a win was in the cards as well (they blew up Bjorn Fell-handed so we could hold him as an objective as well).

In that case, it should practically be an Imperial auto-win as titans can't claim objectives. They can only contest and would need to wipe you off the board to win.

Well they had infantry and tanks on their side as well, but the Titans were the main event. My Space Wolves and an Ork Dread mob were actually about to repel the enemy's first wave when the game ended, and the next wave would have seen an army of Black Templars attacking us. I wish they'd made it a bit more even though, like, put the Eldar Titans on one side, and the Reavers/Warhound on the other.

Made it pretty much impossible to move early on! However, after the first shooting phase there was lots of room
CuddlySquig wrote:The old school dread was a stompa?
No, that was just a dread. The Stompa and Black Templar were just outside of the shot.
