So for my 2500 list I've written a Prince with Radiant Gem of Hoeth, Armor of Caledor, Silver Wand, and a Great Weapon.

Do you think such a character is worth the 242 points he costs? Decently killy with the extra 2 spells of magic as well. I'm contemplating dropping him for some swordmasters at the moment though.

Ideas?

Well, there is some synergy in this guy and the signature spell of death. He certainly has a high level of utility so I wouldnt shoot down the idea without giving it a shot.

edit: if charmed shield is still available you could try it instead of wand.
