I've been messing around with the Sorceror Lord from the new(ish) Manticore kit and attempting to repose him into something interesting. I intend to use him as a Herald in my Daemons army and double-duty him as a Thousand Sons sorceror. Once I remove some of his excess skulls he will not look as "Chaotic" so he might also be useful in other armies.

Anyways, I have mocked up a standing pose for him, but the problem is that his legs look a bit out of scale to his body when you don't have him seated on the Manticore. I'll obviously have to greenstuff an entire new pelvis but I'm hoping to avoid much cutting of the legs as I want to maintain all the nice detail. The picture shows him standing on the rock, but another alternative is flying with the legs more swept back and the end of his cape (which is very long!) serving as the anchor point on the base so I can have him flying without a flight stand. I've mocked that up and it looks pretty good as well, with the exception of the same "Fatty Legs Syndrome" the standing version has.

The clear spirit bits are clipped from a Horrorclix Gyspy Seer. I have him on a Terminator sized base as he looks ridiculous on a 25mm.

Any suggestions as to how I should resculpt his lower abdomen would be greatly appreciated. I have a bad feeling he's going to look pot-bellied and bow-legged if I'm not really careful. It doesn't help he's such a large model (see the second scale pic).

Yeah, this may be the best option.

Alternatively, you could make a cut at the right knee and add in greenstuff to give him a "ready to punce" position.

Although, this is probably more fitting for Slaanesh so you may want follow Legion_Zero's advice!

Iranna.
