Very nice! Looks a bit dark to me though - might be the light of course. Aside from that I'd say you've done an excellent job.

Yup, its a pair of bonoculars cut in half, great for making a sniper team specailly if you don't like ratlings.

An old crappy hard bristle brush, like one you use to dry brush, but don't make the paint two wet or to dry, find a happy medium, patience, and think small. Will post a tutorial some time during christmas week

Thank you!!!!! Yes the S.S. is an awsome insignia! Despite my hatred for the Nazi's the S.S. was the historical creation of special forces! They were the first organized group of small soldiers, with vast experience in several fields. Plus, the german are just awsome, their camo speaks for itself, in addition it felt nessecary because the scheme is German Flecktran!

You do realize though that the S.S. symbol is associated with the Nazis? Even though it might not have been created by them, it still is attached to them and their legacy. Just like how the swastika was not created by the Nazi party but is now associated with them.

I don't want to start a flame war/derail the thread but I kind of agree with Angus...

Otherwise nice work The flec looks nice.

agreed, flecktarn tends to be quite light, i would suggest not washing it, or washing with a very light wash in order to get the maximum effect.

great job though, I've always loved flecktarn, and have wanted to try it out, but im gunna give it a miss on the IG miniatures as they're a wee bit small, maybe give it a go on some orks, or ogryns.

any chance of a tutorial on the flecktarn though?
