Spent some time over the holidays getting my mom into painting. She's always loved Warhammer and 40k minis. Shes always been pretty artistic. So here are the 4 beastmen gors I let her paint. I'm going to give her 6 more to finish off a squad. She said she painted the fur grey and white because she wanted them to be wise, but I see them more as a desert/african sort of beasttribe thats throws white paint all over themselves before battle. So we called them the Mombos. LOL HAhA Enjoy and please comment as freely as you liike. Thanks.

P.S She wasnt the only one painting, lol. I finished 2 Catachan heavy weapons teams which i will post later once we take some pics of them.

They look good. Only 2 things I will say is they need basing, and some freehand on the banner would be cool; certainly the models themselves look good enough that I am confident your mum can do something that looks cool there

I would be very happy to see these in a game

Yes thanks, those are two things she agrees on as well. She attempted the banner with some freehand but its not nearly as easy as it looks. Ended up having to repaint the banner. She says she is looking forward to taking another stab at it though. I currently got he painting one of my IG Sentinels now.

Really love the look on those dudes. Maybe convert up some yetis for her to paint as stand-in Minotaurs?

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop

HAHAHHA Great comments guy. Once again thank you very much! My mom knows the link for this thread so I'm sure she's read them all! LOL !!!!

BEARJRCA - Thank you ever so much for the kind words. My mother was really taken aback by what you had to say. She is happy you liked them, especially since you are the probably the only one on here who will see them in real life

Mr.Merlin - That sucks :( Does your mom have an artsy side at all? Is there anyway to show her the 'light' so to speak about how awesome and fun painting and doing scenery is?

Lord Marcus - LOL

Captain Roderick - That is a great idea actually. I bet she could make turn them into something fierce and beastmen like (even though they kind of already are). I always liked the Yetis as well. She actually asked for the Elf Dragon Imrik Dragonlord for her birthday from me, so she can paint it up. The picture of Imrik in the 2010 Catalogue is amazing.

Tortured-Robot - Hahahah YOU SICK F*** Hahah jk that is actually very clever!
