I think you do yourself a disservice by calling it 'tabletop' standard (high or not). That's some lovely work right there - colours and weathering especially. Good job!

Really sweet. Love the weathering. Also like the color of the base to contrast with the yellow. The only critique I can make is that the flag looks a little out of place being all clean and undammaged. The Dread looks like he's been through it a bit and the brand new flag on top is a little wierd.

My friend, that it way beyond 'Tabletop Standard'. I should know, as someone who can old paint to a tabletop standard.

The yellow and battle damage is amazing.

Matt Ward declared death pit on the Eldar god Khaine. To celebrate his victory he held the most awesome party ever and all the Eldar were invited. The intense pleasure from the orgy with him spawned Slannesh, created the Eye of Terror and destroyed the Eldar empire. Their last words were, "worth it."

So spread the word, and beware of Matt Ward for he can Death Pit at any time.

Fantastic work! I agree with Mysticaria, though, about the banner. Not only is it completely pristine which, while a tad jarring, could be explained away (easier to pop on a new flag than repaint the whole thing ), the color is deeper and more saturated than the armor, which draws attention away from the model.

The Dreadnote wrote:But the Emperor already has a shrine, in the form of your local Games Workshop. You honour him by sacrificing your money to the plastic effigies of his warriors. In time, your devotion will be rewarded with the gift of having even more effigies to worship.

Great. If that's the new standard for table top play I need to repaint my army or start playing on the floor.

Seriously impressive work here, I love seeing yellow done so well on a larger scale. Very solid color, and fantastic weathering. To call this tabletop...well, then I'm ashamed to even call my work low tabletop then. Hah hah, I feel this is well beyond that. Congrats!

This is awesome. As others have mentioned, the yellow looks great and the weathering is spot on.

Was wondering - why did you decide to use normal dreadnought feet instead of the ironclad feet?
