I'v always liked this model where it not for the nose and the sword. So I decided to convert a bit. Hoping it will turn out well.

What I'v done so far is:
1. Cut his incredible 80's hair off, (since it reminded me to much of Sarah Connor in Terminator).
2. Cut his hand of and turned it around to get a better pose.
3. Cut his sword in two places and put the Wraithlord sword and the Brightlance shaft there instead. Giving it a scythe appearance.
4. Greenstuffed a whole new foot *sigh*.
5. Removed his enormous nose and replaced it with a mask in greenstuff. Which, however it would turnout, would be better than the nose.

What do you think? What would you do?

PS. The foot was missing from the BELOVED Finecast package. Geez.. I hate Finecast.

And I like this better.

I like it, the sword in particular.

The mask needs to be a little more ornate so it fits with the armour.

Perhaps use a section of armour to press detail into the msak area as an easy way to get the look without having to sculpt it?

Great advice on the mask. I took the easy way out i guess. But offcource some ornate styling would be in order. I guess i could just do it by hand, copying something from his armor.

Ambitious project you have here!

Good start, I think. I, too, like the sword/weapon you have created. Anything to make a model unique

I agree with Evilgnome: the mask needs work. However, the other option (to adding more detail) would be to have less detail. Eldar have lots of big, smooth surfaces. You could turn the face into something more reminicent of a guardian facemask: the face smooth below the eyes.

Just a thought.

Good luck!

Will draw something with pen and paper just to get the feeling of whats better here. Both good advice here.
Have sprayed the model black and begun with the painting. But the mask is still untouched so I can remake it.
