The mud is great! The highlighting I have never seen such clean highlighting!

At first i thought the highlighting on the land raider was a little too harsh, but the more i looked at the model as a whole, the better it started to look. The stark lines really bring out all the little details in the tank and bring a lot of depth to the armor. I like it!
Like Honaw said, the mud looks great as well.

Very nice, really like the mud. I really need to pick up some weathering powders

Really nice painting sir! My only criticism is that the tank commander that is poking out of the roof is meant to be glued underneath the hatch no on top. So many people do not understand this.

There is no such thing as innocence, only varying levels of guilt.

So i know part of having "great" painted models is to show weathering, and yours look great but I never liked this concept. The ultramarines and all other spaceparines for that matter treat war as a religion. I refuse to belive they would ever go into battle with dirty equipment. When it comes to display boards I view those as prade formations where they would especially be clean

Well I kind agree with you but, there is a "but" in the whole situation.
Just answer me this... When the Ultramarines, protect the name of the Emperor and there is in the middle of a battle, they stop, wash them selves and then continue, or they continue non stop? The answer was simple for me, cause there is only war! So when I play with my miniatures I love them to show that they are not newbies but they are fighting non stop against any enemy.

About the weathering poweder... this is not weathering powder!!! mine is cheaper and in large quantities. It is a powder painting used for painting saints in orthodox churches... You just take the scorched brown box (400gr for 2-3euros) and you mix 1:1 with PVA and you use few drops of games workshop sand and you just take large quantities and put them on the tank... when it is dry you just dry brush it with graveyard earth (gw paint) and then you can try to use some ink or wash to give it a depth illusion! also you can use in few corners the water effect from games workshop to make it look like a puddle of mud.

Everyone thanks for your kind words! I will take them in to consideration when I paint my next marine army!

Great work Bro! You do the Ultramarines proud.
I love that weathering and that blue is just amazing.

My thoughts, exactly. The edgelining is way more stark than I usually like, but it's so cleanly executed that it actually looks quite nice. Also agree on the mud - the effect is absolutely fantastic, whether or not you like the amount of it present.

Did you guys know Canada has a friggin desert?

They are both really good, but there's only one problem. The tank commander is assemble wrong, his body should be placed under the lights thing, not above it.

You're not playing the game like I play it...why aren't you playing the game like I play it?! O_O
