So as i said earlier here is my WiP Dreadknight that is going to be put in my Inquisition army. The pose Is not as static as the photo would show. I am not verys trong in the conversion department and this is my "official' first attempt. So i hope you all enjoy!

Did you use an entire dreadnouht torso or is it the front section over the dreadnight torso?

Nope, that's the entire Dreadnought upper torso. Also i have a banner from the Warriors of chaos Sprue. Will be using that tween the legs, held on with chains and such.

Love the dreadnought torso, but the pose is putting me off. The DK is off-balance and the joints of its outstretched leg have been angled without the leg pivoting outward at the hip, giving it a sort of knock-kneed appearance, like it's trying so hard not to wet itself that it keeled over from the effort. Okay, that was a bit of a stretch, but my point stands - yes, it's not the most dynamic pose in history, but it's the awkwardness of it, not the rigidity, that detracts the most.

You used an entire dreadnought?!!
The conversion bit is nicely done but I can't help but cringe at the huge amount of parts for just one model.
Still, as I said The conversion has been done well. I'm just glad its not my money...

Perhaps, but now he has a whole Dreadknight torso and Terminator as well as the Dreadnought legs to use in his next masterpiece

Having a well stocked bits box is really important!

I spent 6$ off ebay for the dreadnought torso, not breaking the bank lol

@Oadie. I agree with how boring it is. I do promise though it is the angel of the pictures. In person he has the look of as if he just came through the ruins he is standing in. As i said this is my very first full conversion, The next one will have bent knees (possibly tebwoing? ..kidding) And a modification of his guns

Awesome first. Really like the concept. One comment - the sword looks 'off' becasue it's not sraight out like it an extension from the arm.

The comment about the using lots of parts is amusing...no one i know who converts ever considers the efficiency of the conversation. When we have, we realize it's always more expensive to convert in time and materials than to buy. We are plastic addicts who are wanna-be artists

Damn. Why can I never find deals like that? I searched eBay just now and the best I could come up with is $15 for the front half of the torso.

EDIT: Also, it would be nice to see what the back of the model looks like. Do you have any photos?

I sure can take pics of the back. I am swamped right now by a few commissions for friends so i am way backed up. I am also building a light box set up so i can actually take good photos. Also keep in mind, there will be a tabard hanging from his groin area held by chains, which will fill in that awkward empty space tween his legs (insert joke here)

this guy is win all though i agree with a few other folks he needs to have a more dynamic stance.

I agree it is a boring pose, It does have some movement but it does not transfer to photo well. It also is my very first Conversion ever so..with all that i am quiet happy with how it looks. I will have some new pics up shortly with the tabard in place so everyone can see
