(yes another thread for me) So to try and fit the theme i am going with I need to find something to use as DCA.. i have it narrowed down to two different ideas.

The first is Daughters of the Flame from Privateer Press. I like the model and feel the overall look would fit in with a Inquisition Light steampunkish feel

The second is Fagellant Warband..Nothing says crazy like these guys..and i feel they fill the sort of almost Religious feel of the Inquisition

i think the privateer press kit makes more sense as DCA and is more asteticly pleasing than a bunch of shirtless old coots, the flagellents i have seen are a good baisis for makin acro flaggelents if its SOB.

Would it be Tournment legal or accepted if i built my own Death cult assassins out of left over Space marine bits (using the GK falcions) I see no reason why it would be a problem, as Last year for Ard Boys i had to deal with a guy using 1/48 scale Model plane Tomahawk missiles on his termies as Cyclone missile launchers and was told by the TO "eh..it's 50% the model he is fine. So what do you guys think? The model will have 2 power weapons (swords) so therefore will be Wysiwyg.

i dont see any problem...then again, i have only played at my flgs, so i have never had any issues with any torny rules.

Now to deiced which space marine bodies to use...Death company...maybe a bit of Sanguin guard for them roman style torsos, I guess some Deathwatch shoulder pads would make sense being a Inquisitor army.Going to have and use Assault style leg as i want them having charging forward/fast momentum look.

I made my own. Micro-art amazon torsos, DE wych legs and DE power weapons with Skull masks and pony tails.

I haven't figured out how I want to paint them. I've played 4-5 games with them and I have yet to have them hit with more than 10% of their attacks, so I'm not sure when I'll play wit them again

O wow, the set up i run is insanely overkill. I run 7 DCA with 3 crusaders..As well as my Inquisitor with his Pysconade and Coteaz..so far, out of the 8 assaults they have been in out of 6 games The DCA with their 28 attacks on the charge have wiped out everything they have gone up against But..that is possibly dumb luck also lol

I use 9 DCA 2 crusader and an inquisitor

I used the dark eldar wytches.
I used the fachions and some of their less spikey weapons.
I cut off their spikes and some pauldrons.
I put on purity seals.

Sorry they are still in the process of being painted and I only had my phone handy but this will give you an idea.

I'm a big fan of the daughters of the flame myself and plan on getting some eventually. Not really a big fan of wyches in this role to be honest. Most of them end up still looking very DE and not really convincingly imperial. I've heard of people using wood elf kits as well, and seen some decent results with those.

I picked up some sisters of sigmar a while back for this purpose because I found them pretty cheap. Not really the best, but could be good for some conversions. I'll probably end up with a mixed unit of them (as DCA and crusaders) along with some daughters of the flame for good measure.
