I've never had a problem with bright skinned orks myself. I've done darker ones and lighter ones and to be honest, I think the lighter ones look better on the table. More "pop" if you will.
Though the dark ones look better when photographed I suppose.

Are the flowers Orkids ...perhaps ? BTW it looks really good.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.

I lioke the skin alot actually. My least fave ork skin is dark dark green. Lighter the better IMO. Anyways this whole thing is awesome. Give your wife some props for me!

I like it. Don't mind the bright skin, and I actually think it looks better than dark skin, but fluff wise... Well, ork skin gets darker the stronger and bigger the ork gets. A Warboss would by default be the strongest and biggest. Anyway, I really like this model.

Just wanted to say again, awesome work. My wife paints as well, and she's pretty good too.
So far, only daemons though. I have not yet turned her to the green side, but I bet some grots would do the trick.

thank you, yes I am a lucky man, not only does she share my hobby, and paint better than me. today she gave me a son, and future gamer, Tynan James Morang born today at 1352, I can't wait for his first mini!!!!
