Hello everyone, Well I'm still getting used to Fantasy and I must say i'm having quite a hard time with low point lists as WoC.
Tomorrow I'm playing vs Ogre Kingdom and this guy always uses the same kinda list, lvl4 wizard, a unit of 2 ogres in rhino 6 normal ogres
(considering I don't have range attack he might be putting the range ogres) and thats about it, maybe he'll fit a cannon somehow.
Since is a really small army I've thought of this.

Chaos Sorcerer

Third eye of Tzeench
Horse

Core:
12 Marauders
Mark of Khorne
Flails

10 Marauders
Mark of Khorne

Special units:
War Shrine
+ Mark of Slaanesh

5 Chaos Knights
+ Magical weapons
+ Mark of Khorne

3 Dragon Ogres
+ Aditional weapons

Well that said, Marauder units are small strength 5 units to be able to withstand a charge (Hopefully since I hit first I will be able to do some damage and allthough he gets this bonus from the ogre rules maybe just 2-3 marauders will die)
plus being 3 small units I can side charge and that could make a difference instead of a big unit. The idea is take down the infantry with Marauders (hopefully he won't use range ogres cause if not I'm pretty much dead)
the dragon ogres and the chaos knights along with the sorceror will destroy one flank depending on how he places the units and let the shrine bonus the 12 marauders and assist charges if needed.
I'm open to lots of changes! help me out!

War Shrine is a rare choice, which is probably good because all together your Special section may have been too big.

I don't know if 10 Marauders will do anything to Ogres. Even at S5 they won't put out enough hurt and thats IF you get the charge.

His Lvl 4 butcher (I think that's their wizards) will probably dominate your magic. It may be worth your while to consider just taking a killy exalted which may leave some room for more Marauders and would help you get a unit with at least some punch.

There are a few things you can do.
If you can take a death Mage then you can wreck his day, how ever that will look like tailoring which can get people very upset.

I highly suggest get one fatty you it of marauders with gw and mok.

You can add festus to that unit for less than 200 and that unit is mean.

This still gives you over 500 points to play with.

Get some hounds to distract and to redirect.

Ihighlh suggest against lore of death. That's like purposely taking lore of metal against an all warrior army.

Unless that is what you run your guy with all the time that could be considerred bad sportsmanship. Karma might also get you for it you could miscast it and have it misfire ie you Mage explodes and your own unit takes initiative test.

As said above I suggest festus he can debuff ogres so your guys can wound em easier.

I'm brand-spanking new to WHFB myself, and while I know nothing about WoC, I do know a bit about Ogres, and I think that your opponent is doing a few things wrong, if the info you're giving is correct. At 1,000 points, the Ogre player shouldn't be able to bring a lvl 4 caster. A Slaughtermaster is a lvl 3 wizards, and even with zero points into equipment he fills up your % allotment for Heroes, so unless there's something I'm missing lvl 3 should be the max he can get.

Anyway, just some things to look out for to make sure everything is on the level.

Also, I will agree with cowpow that tailoring a list just to beat one opponent is bad form, plus it will make it harder to play if you ever want to branch out against different opponents. Not that i'm accusing you of such, I'm just saying to watch out for taking options that are "good against Ogres," as opposed to "good for my army."
