Hey all, I put up a few threads before about some projects but I figure I should just make my own WIP thread and post things up as I go. Some things seem finished but usually i don't say its finished until I'm happy with it. With over 100 models and counting now I'd say I've painted most of them but I've been going back and redoing my models bit by bit as my experience has grown and made me have a better understanding on painting minis, and painting in general. I'd like to think their just a step above tabletop quality, and likely a few steps below any award winning hah! I'm open to criticism and ideas, or even changes. I was one of my only friends who started playing 40k a year ago that glued all of his models shoulder pads on the wrong way! I felt pretty stupid.. but some models have grown on me and I've kept them.

These look great, dude. Some crazy conversions, but hey, thats what Chaos is all about.

You are nice and neat with your details, and have a very good grasp of painting for someone still relatively new to it.

I think a good next step to aim for would be getting to grips with Highlighting. As you already have nice neat colours down, highlighting them would really make them pop

The red is mechrite red, then blood red, then just a badab wash but i was careful to try to get rid of any wash on open spots. Would you say i should highlight red w/ just blood red since its darkened by the badab or mix some red with white?

For highlighting bronze , can you even highlight bronze? or should i darkened it up more to do a highlight? I based him lastnight so I'll add some more pictures as well as a "powerfist" khorne zerker. I made made him a year ago.. and its essentially a Khorne Berzerker w/ a shield and a chainfist x.x it might look a bit silly but I almost think of Berzerkers like Orkz.. bigger weapon the more they can kill, after all their missing half their brain right? XD

These also scream obliterators to me, which might be what i do.. I was going to convert Terminators (5 for $50) cause its $40 here for 1 Metal Obliterator, and I had to greenstuff them anyways cause their metal parts kept falling off.
