So i have decided to take a small break from my Chaos Nurgle army, since i basically have it to the point where i can play 1500 points with an entirely painted army but i will go back to them but for now here is my new project. The Skaven, i picked up fantasy finally about 3 weeks ago. at first i said i was gonna go slow in my purchases but that fell through. (ramen for a few weeks) but i have begun on the path of the under empire. so as of the moment i have approxamately 1500 points in Skaven. This is the list i have

100 ClanRats/Slaves

40 Stormvermin

2 Warlords from IOB

2 Warlock Engineers from IOB

2 Warp Lightning Cannons

1 Doom Wheel

1 Doom Flayer

1 Queek Headtaker

so i obviously have a bunch to work on but its a place to start. here are some pictures of things i have already worked on.

Subbed because I've always wanted to do a Skaven army (fantasy specifically, but kicked around for YEARS the idea of a Chaos Cult IG made up entirely of heavily converted Skaven) and also becasue you do such incredible work on your Plague Marines I can't let a thread you are running pass by w/o notice. finally i can get an update in, well i painted up a test model for the Clan rats and i gotta say i like it, tho not looking forward to having to paint 100+ of them. i have found it to be quite easy to get this army model wise, The WarStore has clan rats for cheep (40 for 30 bucks) half are spears and shields but you can go on Ebay and get the hand weapons if you want. Only problem is if you dont want shields this doesnt help but i can see why you wouldnt use them. I made a few conversions to the army as well including a BSB and a Grey Seer.

This project is looking to be quite entertaining as of the moment i need to paint:
1 Queek Headtaker (for higher point levels)

1 Grey Seer

1 Chieftan w/ BSB

40 Stormvermin

60 Clan Rats

2 Warp Lightning Cannons

1 Doom Wheel

once all these are painted it will equal to 1500 points minus Queek. All models are primed brown excpet for like 18 Stormvermin, this will hopefully make the painting happen faster. I plan to play a Game with this army this week and i will let you know how it all turns out.

ok so an update finally to the under-empire. I have been working on primarily getting my models built and primed and making lists so i know exactly what i need to do.

So that is the list i aim to complete. My time frame is 3 months to have the whole thing complete, i think its a good Goal, i already have 30 Clanrats mostly painted all i need to do is paint the brass armor, dot the eyes and do a wash over top.

Now i did buy a few models of Craigslist and they are 20 plague monks and a Plague Furnace. these models are already painted. i have attached the pictures so everyone can see them i plan to have a few updates on the models i have painted in a few days.

Plague monks look diseased and noxious.
