Well, here we go then just to get you lot of my back a thread of nothing really that good or interesting …… just some suff that I chucked together over the 3 or 4 years nothing finished or painted but you get the idea.

I am trying to be more committed so maybe this will help, updates will be few and far between but I will try hard to keep this going with something that might or might not interest you .

I origianlly started one to help get motivated. It was for my World Eaters army. It didn't really work, but every once in a while it does make me feel guilty, so I do a bit more work on it.

by the way... i am not sure here as i have not the knowing of orks models, but is that a kit of an orktank or a scratchbuilt??? can´t tell anymore with all that black paint over it^^

Landboat...Landship....
Doesn't that depend on how many masts the vehicle has? I think 3 masts or more denotes ship...if the same holds true for the land variant, I do not know.

I do know awesome though! And the Plastic Card work on the prow so far is awesome!

well as of now...it is clearly a landnutshell then...see no attached masts anywhere^^

The only down side is answering all this bare with me

The top one was a scratch build except a few pieces GW and blood and skulls awesome tracks and some wheels (big thanks there)

Yes, the grot / goblin is a pilot he was to go in the plane I grotted up, but after a bit of detail added he would not fit in

The land boat tank boat or whatever is the start of my own grot mega tank, I loved the FW one but I wanted something a bit more classic ship feel, so the basis is going to be a pirate ship in metal on tracks with a few twist's.

I may need some help with things on this, so get you're thinking caps on chaps, and I will be using the maxmini grot pirate heads for my crew (with bodies of course) as they are friggin brilliant.


Incase any one is wondering as no one has mentioned the little thing with yes ZINGE INDUSTRIES excellent wheel on it is the start of a side car for my ork bike squad (yet to build) and it needs more rivets

I will update soon but I need to check everyone else to make sure they are pulling their finger out now, instead of telling me to pull mine out.

i had a fleeting feeling that this might be a sidecar to a bike...but was too unsure so i didn´t ask^^ in fact the agle of the pic was so bad i couldn´t tell heads or bum either^^

that tank is brilliant! bloddy brilliant at that... must have costed an age to make it done...

as for the landship...first question is...are you up to do a sketch of what you might want to go for a look?

what i can come up is you need to think about turrets... and maybe some ramps and such things...and a ball on a chain...really i think monkeytroll should be answering this...he is da man for such ideas^^

Well, to be honest that was my first real try at scratch building, it turned out not to shabby I think

As for the ship if you imagine a pirate ship, well I want that kind of look to it the old galleon (don't think about masts yet ) however I need this in metal plus land tank form.

So the issue I have is layout, where does the engine go, exhausts, crew quartos, weapon layout ect … I will have masts of sort as I want to do something that will answer the fuel problem …… and I want a crows nest for sure.. …
I like the idea of turrets as i have considered these for a couple of options, Ramps I am not sure as to what you mean or ball and chain can you elaborate on that please ...

Drawing a picture aint my strong point, tried it on this project to start and the idea was completely wrong (ended up drawing a cross between a battle ship and a tanker ) so that will be no, I find it best just to cut glue and see where it takes you..,,

For sure for the landship You need a grot to the steering wheel with a hook and a peg leg, plus, engine and exhausts at the back, like the rudder.
Don't forget the figurehead and a lot of nets with scrap metal in them, kind of fishing them up!

sidecar looks very cool...and as for the shabby tank of yours...well it is shabby, but with orks and gretchkins...that is where you wanted to go for... and i have to tell you...making scruffy or worn out out stuff is sometimes a hell lot more difficult that creating even and smooth fittings...

i hope you feel the back of my my hand slapping your neck...all this stuff...brlliant i might add and you still didn´t want to make a thread...*shakes head...* peeps with low selfesteem...*shudder*

LDD Good stuff dude...loving that Landship/FW Grot Tank reminds me of both the Jawas from that popular sci-fi family adventure who's name seems to escape me at this time and also a hint of the Rebel Grots "Big Lugga" from Gorkamorka...you ever play that? If not check it out!

@ Ghostflame Yes, cant put my finger on the name of those film's either as for Gorkamorka skimmed through a few times, more a fan of the models than the games.
Have to say you have inspired me with your thread to do a couple of things now and one with a take on Jawa's and those grots with ghouls heads ……….. enough said for now
