So this is Round 2 of a 1750pts Tourny that I participated in. This pits my Order of the desert rose vs the zeal filled Black templars.
Faith and Fire Vs Zeal and blade.
Emperor protects.

Thats a good example of needing more scoring units! Chris played well though. He just didn't have enough firepower to deal with all your transports and you overran him!
Well done! You had me laughing about the Land Raider reproduction.
You did a good job of not concentrating your forces where he could just smash them. This left him with the choice of either A) spreading his own guys out to try and engage your whole army and go after all the objectives or B) keep his forces concentrated and try to own a section of the board. He chose B and it didn't work out. Well played game on both sides though.

That was the plan I was going for but I deployed a bit out of position and didn't have enough melta in the right place. I still won however so it's a lesson I won't learn until it costs me the game

I always assumed a Land raider gave birth to a Rhino, it grew into a Razorback, when it became a Teenager it grew a cannon and sponsons before becoming an older, wiser, land raider.
