In process of updating and finishing the painting on an old space marine army i have had laying around collecting dust.
These couple models are done except for decals. (Still seeing if there is any decal paper around here before going online for it)

That is a good color scheme, glad to see you're dusting em off! I would suggest a devlan mud wash, and trim those mold lines.

Whilst it looks good, preheresy he is not. He is in modern armour to begin with and has nothing to distinguish him as "Death Guard" to make him pop. As ATM he looks like a member of a custom SM chapter you've made, not a member of Mortarion's legions.

While yes it is modern armor this was started for fun back almost 4 years ago, and for the current time Forgeworld/ sculpting the armor is beyond my reach.

Good colour scheme though. Just thin your paints and weather your vehicles.

Very nice miniatures, ignore the people moaning about the armour not being pre-heresy; part of the hobby is using imagination, so you have to imagine that it's pre-heresy armour.

Pyrotechnics and sorcery. At the end of the day, you can smash things with your fists or shoot holes in them with your punisher cannon, but what really compares to having unholy bolts of lightning zap from your finger tips? Or being able to turn your victims inside out with a few uttered words?
