About two weeks ago I negociated the purchase for GreyKnightVision's collection of Imperial Armour Books, the price was too good to be true, so I jumped on the deal without questioning a second thought on the lack of references or the fact that he was currently out of country. All that would have been fine. Except that shortly after receiving my money, he went completely quiet, not responding to any of my questions about when he would be returning, or any others. So I have since started a claim with paypal, which he has not responded to yet, as it draws into the date where they will escalate it. I did some digging into his paypal email, and another post he made on another forum was that for purchasing cheap medicine in another country to ship to wherever. Since he solely wanted paypal, I don't think there were any trades that went on, but if anyone else is interested, I've started my claim process with paypal, I suggest you do as well.

yeah, I bought a GK dread, he even provided a pic, but never confirmed it shipped etc. I asked for refs or a phone number of whatnot and he couldn't provide any, so i paid with credit card (just in case). guess that was a good move.

I received my money back with the paypal claim with no issues.

This time it was because he was moving house, so it definitely looks like he's a scammer.

A few of us (yours truly included) neglected to notice the low feedback and postcount and went ahead and sent money via Paypal for various things. Ironically, I too "bought" the IA books, thinking it was a great deal. Turned out it was too good to be true!

Hope you guys all get your money back in the end.

Lol he states he's out of the country and can't send photos and what not, I messaged him about a few things and then magically "his wife" was able to send me photos 5minutes later, too which I decided not to reply too.. Seemed a bit fishy to me, and I was right... Hope you guys sort everything out

Thanks, Nrljm. Unfortunately, in hindsight, it was damned fishy and we should have noticed! In the excitement of getting some new toys on the cheap though, a lot of us didn't. Hopefully it won't be too expensive a mistake to have made!

Eh if you paid via PayPal you'll be fine and get your refund. So don't stress, just a pain in the ass it takes a few weeks lol

As long as you didn't pay via Gift option you will get your money back from him. Just got mine back yesterday after the long process

The transactin with the poster Greyknightvision started on 2/12/2012. He was selling 10 new Dark Eldar Mandrakes which I was interested in. I made contact with him and issued payment when the description of the items were completed. However, The last message message I received from him was on 2/16 telling me that the product will be in the mail this week. I have tried multiple times to gain a contact number from him for the posting and asked for updates. I have received none. I have been hesitant to write this message as I am still hoping to receive my items which I purchased.

If he does not wish to give me my items then a simple refund will be fine. However, I would either like my items or my money back. i will copy and paste the exchanges of messages between us below. I hope I am not be too anxious, but I feel some sort of reply is warranted to my messages. if I receive my items this post will be deleted.

Can someone explain how to go about getting your money back from Paypal please?

I was about to buy stuff from this guy, but when he wouldnt provide any details or pictures i decided against it. The only info he would eagerly give me was his paypal....
