It's not a Baneblade. The Baneblade doesn't have two gun turrets on the front-center, it only has one.

I mean, what irks me is how it seems almost identical in many respects: Like how the hull slopes under the turret. Looks totally ripped off.

Could flipside the argument and take it as a compliment that the designers ripped off the GW model.

Perhaps they see with the success of the GW computer franchises, theres a huge market of us tabletop geeks in terms of computer/console games too.

Why come up with something utterly new when somethings been proven? (kidding on that one of course).

With all this blatant thievery, the classic Tiberium Symbol is looking more like the Nurgle Symbol.

It's even meant to represent a faction of mutants and horrors infested with a Tiberium disease.

EA may be Evil Arts but come on, its just one tank model for a relatively obscure F2P game

Naa they are to busy trying to dig themselves out of the CH mess and send C&D's to little guys who can't afford lawyers, why would they mess with some company that can afford to higher good lawyers?

And GW has NEVER EVER ripped anything off before?

GW has ripped off many things in the past, including Starship Troopers... but the aesthetic is NOT it.

Starship Troopers were not described as anything like what the movie displayed. They didn't have bare arms and goofy helmets. The novel had them with full faceplates, heavier armor, and the occasional trooper in Power Armor.

The movie was made in 1997.
Cadians first came out around 1989.

You dont see the german military sueing gamesworkshop for using the old ww2 trooper uniform design for many of their IG regiments.
