so back when i first got into warmachine years back, i started with cygnar, but in a moment of foolishness i eventually traded the army off
fast forward to the present, and i've begun the process of rebuilding and repainting a cygnar force, making use of the plastics when i can to make my life a bit easier
my old army was a red scheme that i never really got quite right, so this time around i went with and blue and white, heavy on the white, dirtied up to sort of a brown
since i figure that going aroudn with a bunch of coal burning engines does not lend itself to being particularly sparkly
my goal is to try and get at least a few models painted and added to this each week if i can, using the weird hours i keep working nights to get stuff done

i started working on my color scheme with this firefly, working out ideas and how i wanted to divy up between the blues and brown/whites

i ended up tweaking it a bit more before i settled on something i wanted to use on multiple jacks, here it is with the alt journeyman and a squire

so generally happy with what i had, i moved on to painting up the plastic battlebox

figure i'll toss this up to, i snagged a spare Bouncer off ebay, and decided to swap some bits around, make it
look like he was armed with battlefield loot. still need to finish removing the menofix from the shield and possibly strip that black primer

on a side note, the terrain bit they're standing on i just finished up also, so that i had something better then a paint splattered table to take pictures on.
i'll try and get some pictures with more accurate lighting up with my next update, so the colors look a bit like they do in hand

next up on the painting table-siege, sloan, triumph, cyclone, firefly 2, and strangeways

went and retook some pics outside, should have went out earlier, but the colors are more accurate and the individual shots a touch better

might use the next hobby cash budget on a lightbox
on a side note, the little terrain square i made for taking pics has started giving me ideas of a table....now if i just had a good spot store a table

They look good, you've made nice selection of colors and neat but dirty look fits Warmachine really well.

Hope to see them with bases finished soon.

man, been a while since i updated this thread
finally got around to painting again (work has eased off some, so i actually feel like doing something productive when i get home again)
painted up 2 squads of gun mages and a ua over the course of a few days
i went with one old sculpt squad and one new, so i can mix and match and have two squads without a bunch of repeat sculpts
