I have always loved flash gitz everysence the first dawn of war i played and when i started my orks i decided that i must have atleast 1 squad of them in my bad moon army. I plan on gettin 2 real flash gitz but im gonna make 6 custom ones. So here is my first attemp at flash gitz, tell me if there real lookin enough or need a lil something else so here is my first 4 that i have made.
And 4 the first 2 i used black reach nobz and the second 2 i used the smaller nob guys from a ork battleforce.
P.S. if everyone would vote and comment on my pics in my gallery, your feedback would be much appreicated cause im just starting out on this stuff and i personal think im pretty dang good 4 someone just startin, especially the ones that i really take my time with like Ghaz and the kaptain, so please if you can and thanks 4 checkin my stuff out

Great to see more orks converted, as an army they're always interesting. And you have made a solid start with some decent colour choices and attention to detail.
That said there are a few pointers that would do wonders to help you:
Thin your paints more, I think the glare off of your flash hasn't helped matters but in some of your pictures the glare in places makes the paint look too thick and occasionally blobby, you can thin right out of a pot or on a palette but it'll make it flow much better.
Highlights - on models with a tonne of skin, which Orks definitely fall into, you could do with layering up highlights to give more depth to the model.
Washes - Can be used as an alternative to the above, where as the highlight would have lightened the ridges, a quick was will deepen your recesses and allow a quick touchup with the base colour.
Now that might seem overly critical but its advice I got a TONNE of times and has helped me a load, your metal work is pretty good but the skin and flat colours could use a touch.
(Also you posted this in both showcase and P&M, since they arent fully based it only belongs here)

I think your models look okay however the colour is flat, a wash and highlight would work wonders.
Nice snazzy guns though

ya im waiting 4 my store 2 finally get some washes and i will eventually do that, and thanks 4 the advice yo, good stuff and the reason my kaptain is so shiny cause he was the first metal one i did and in some spots the paint kept chippin off so i final got sick of it, repainted the messed up parts and threw a couple coats of auto-body clear on it (i paint cars part time 4 my pops) and it made it preatty solid and tuff just i cant wash it now but thats ok, he is the richest mofo there is so he should be clean and fly lookin in my mind lol but thanks 4 the advice yall

Ah, I've heard painting metal models can be somewhat tricky though I have blissfully managed to avoid metal besides the odd armour plate here and there from old kits. Still its a learning experience and everyone has a model or two that they had to learn from (my gallery is an a-z of my own learning experiences).

ya just checked out your stuff yo, and love your orks, just one thing i found out when i started my first 2 armys (bad moonz and evil sunz) is that red and yellow are the 2 most pain in the but colors and of course my first 2 choices where those lol

Yellow is a real pain to try and get a nice even coat on, but I have found red to be OK to work with aslong as you build it up slowly. That said the new paints seem to give you an edge on the reds, cutting out a good amount of time on the building up of layers and providing a much smoother finish. I have yet to try the new yellows though as it isnt a colour that features in any of my current colour schemes.

personally, I bought the nobz kit and gave three of them one-handed kombi weapon (slightly customised) and power klaws.
for the other two, I used some spare deffguns, but without the case, just the arm with the gun on and some other spares and bitz from the nobz kit
p.s love the bright Badrukk paint job!
