Hi.all. I am looking.for aid for the naming of 3 of my Captains.

I will post the names I have so far along with occupation, and the model and rules.


Officers of the Blood Ravens

Chapter Master Raphael Xiortan (Marneus Calgar)

1st Company Captain Leonidas Hedromus- Tyberos the Red Wake (Imperial Armour 10)

2nd Company Captain Gabriel Angelos- Darnath Lysander rules, Arjac Rockfist model

3rd Company Captain Matheus Julios- Pedro Kantor

4 th Company Captain Perseus Heletrom- Vulkan He'stan

5th Company Captain Aramus- Captain with Relic Blade "Wisdom" and combi-melta, artificer armour, Hellfire rounds, Digital weapons

6th Company Captain Kaveras Firoth- Kor sarro Khan on Moondrakken

7th Captain Mekellos Fernandes- Captain with Plasma Pistol, Lightning Claw, Bike, Artificer Armour

8th Company Captain Vlad Umbrey- Kaayvan Shrike

For the 8th Captain, the Assault Company, I want a fierce, dark sounding name to match his rules and model.

For the 9th, I am looking something solid, that doesn't sound like something to easily move.

For the 10th, regality, sternness and expieriance. He is one of the most expierianced captains. He needs to trakn the 10th company.

8th: Vlad Umbrey.

Oh, I like that one. Though it does sound a.lot like an old phrase I once heard, 'one "bad hombrey" meaning he is a bad ass.

9th - Antaeus Atlum
10th - Hyperio Sterrus

Bearing in mind I have a headache and am tired as... something really, really tired, they may or may not be very good at all

I like those too. I will keep the thread open for a bit though to see other suggestions.

So, while I did change the title to say that fluff was added, I went to the cinema, so I didn't upload it. I have now. Below is a word document. The document uses an old Microsoft Word WORKS, the forebearer to Office, so some people may have difficulty viewing it. If so just post here and I will copy and paste.

A few things that stand out to me.

Why is mr. Angelos not the chapter master. Or if this is suppose to take place before the events of DoW 2 why is he not the leader of the 3rd company with Kyras as the GM. Gabriel Angelos is also the exception to the rule that the GM is also the head librarian for the BRs. So if you want to make your own chapter master (Perhaps claiming that since Angelos wasn't a psyker he wasn't fit for the position.) I would recommend using one of the named psykers from the various rule books.

This is fluff that follows on from the DoW story line. After most of the Chapter went renegade, including the Chapter Master who was also Ceif Libby. He therefore took many Libbies and Honour Guard with him.into treachery.

According to Lexicanium, if the DOW games are considered canon, then Angelos became chapter master. However I prefer to use Marneus Calgar for my Chapter Master. So I filled out in favour of the 1st captain. As the Chapter master elected no heir, the 1st captain traditionally takes over. Angelos understood and stepped aside.

Also, not all of their Chapter Masters were Chief Libby. Many were but some wern't.


There is more fluff to cone and I will add it on as I build up my army and write.more.
