Ok I'm currently working on my feral orks addition of my waagh well the preplanning phase. So I have an idea for a squad with skull plates. So here is my first rough idea and I need your opinions on should I cut the rim off and greenstuff the skull back more should I leave it there and maybe put spikes off of it. Still debating so here is where I am at I still need to trim the head down to fit the skull better.

I like the skull mask, and you seem to have it positioned pretty nicely. Maybe something like dreadlocks coming off of the rim on the back? Voodoo boyz??? or feathers like a native american head-dress? Those were the first things to pop in my head...definitely reminds me of something tribal

I vote for feathers as well. Dont see orks with dread locks lol..

Do a variety - if five orks (or their grot assistants) decide to make skull masks, the result will be five different skull masks. The only exception would be if they literally represent mass-looted shoulder pads or similar (not sure whether that suits your background fluff), but even then they'd use a variety of straps/ropes etc to tie them on and decorate them.

I think I may have found it the kroot hair I just proxied one to see how it looked. Plus I really don't want to use feathers cause I'm thinking of a making a squad with tiki masks but that is just a plan at the moment cause I wan't to use the shaman from fantasy I don't remember his name at the moment, as a weird boy. of course this is just all Ideas.

looking good like the helmet you need to add some "feral" trinkits and things, look at space wolves they have loads of feral fetishes to add to there image

This link is to the old chapter approved list for feral orks, just for some fluff, and insperation, i liked the mad boys. Gorka Morka wayyy old school had some models i bought some off ebay they are smaller than newer boys but they are screaming and some mad boys are kicking.

For feral orks I have always wanted to see some "low-tech" feral orcs that count as Killa-Kans...

Get some bull-ogre models, put a grot on th shoulders "masterblaster" style, then put a rock in the ogre's hand, paint on it "rok-it"

Excellent! You nailed it with the kroot look. Is it just me or is it reminiscent of Predator? Some shrunken heads, candles with alot of runny wax, maybe even 40k style bows or blowdart guns, tribal tattoos...you have got me excited about this lol. Keep up the work and please keep posting with any major advancements!

I actually thought of the predator look I was thinking of the predator. I was thinking of a nob or a war boss with the mask off and the predator mouth I was just thinging of it and I think it could be cool with the unit.

the killa kan idea is pretty sweet too I was just thinking of incorperating some feral ork in my army but it might get bigger than I was planning cause I really like the idea.
