It's me again. Here's some pics of the chaos ogryns I've been working on. Ogre bodies, talos bits, orc shootas(right scale, don't have to change the hands). I'll probably re-paint them in the near future as I'm not quite happy with the flesh and the metalics.

I really, really like the look of these, Legio!
I have been looking for a way to add a unit of Ogryns to my Traitor Guard army and this may be it.
My favorite is the power hammer and I think you've done a great job taking Fantasy figures
and bringing them into 40k.
What paints did you use for the skin color? I think the sickly grey look works well for followers
of Chaos.
Thanks for posting!
Tom

Wotcha! BringHalo. Cheers for the comment. I used the skin colour scheme for the Dark Eldar Wracks, dheneb stone, ogryn flesh wash then highlight with 1:1 mix dheneb stone & bleached bone. I added a touch of rotting flesh to the final layer just to give it that sickly, putrid tinge. Check out the rest of my gallery if you like mad conversions. Thank dude.

Good work! I was looking at doing some of these for my own guard. Now post more minis!! Did you use the ironguts and normal ogres, or just one?

Imperial guard: Because quantity has a quality of it's own.
Sisters of Battle can be used in any game, with the exception of chess, Monopoly and of course, Warhammer 40,000.
After 8 editions, you might have thought that GW could get fantasy right. |

Wotcha progreen10! In answer to your query I used one set of normal ogres for the six man squad and a set of Iron guts for the champions. I'm going to build another squad soon, again with the Talos heads and orc shootas but with orc nob close combat wepons to give a bit of variation between the units. Check out my other stuff on my gallery page. Cheers dude!
