Yes they are =P Can swap for boneswords when I finally get them (Glad you noticed his arms were in different positions when the photos were taken)

I've have the rest of my magnetic tyranids photographed and uploaded in the next few weeks:

The Cthulhu conversion was pretty strait forward:

Build the warrior (apart from any magnetized arms) and the head

The spikes on the shoulder and chest plate are spare trygon spikes (clip off the "soft fleshy" bit).

The head is a venomthrope head - the other venomthrope parts can be used as lash whips (so its not a complete waste) and the body for a doom or whatever you mind fancies.

That mid-air blood spurting strike is one of the coolest things I've seen on here! Even better, he's impaled an ultrasmurf captain!

Its hard to make out the actual lictor model because everything is so blue, but I guess thats the point.

I used some of the techniques described in the post to create the blood splatter. Its actually quite easy to pull off
