I'd heard that someone wanted a sepreate thread to discuss it on the forums as someone was a going to host it.

So just a discussion of the details for the event.

I made a hunger games arena on the server and I am looking to have a big enough game if I could get enough people involved for a nice game. I guess you could sign up for a match sometime when we are all on. The map is for eight players.

Although I was talking about a bigger world, such as the famous Survival Craft.

Have you seen how big sky's arena is? Its pretty darn big. Plus I believe he planned on building a dunegons below it which would give it literally more depth.

In fact, I can quickly using world edit take a section of a world and put a border around it.

Well, I wanted to add all sorts of things under the surface, sort of like the Umbrella Co. in Resident Evil, dark, dead and hostile.

Sure, what's your skype username?

also, a different server could be better as we wouldn't have to worry about other people, we could have it near the spawn so it's easy to find, and we could go in creative to build it all.

though if sky's already made one, we may as well use that...

Actually, I can easily section off a chunk of a world using worldedit and we can all randomly scatter chests with goodies and drawing inspiration from the hunger games.

Not on mine no but someone on the minecraft discussion group was set on hosting this.

In other news, I've finished bordering 1024 x 1024 section of a world with bedrock so if anyone needs the map let me know and I will send it.

I remember a 'Grundz' wanted to host but you can if you want.

Do you know how to set it up so ops can track players from a long distance?

I'm sure there is a plugin of sorts.

There really isn't much you can do to help other than host the server, op the dead people so they can be the 'sponsors' and enforce the rules.
