Hey Dakka, real quick question here: Do you think that Cadian army that uses black armor is overused? I ask because I've been contemplating whether or not to repaint my army. My current scheme is dark red/maroon armor with brown fatigues. So far I've painted my infantry but I really don't see this scheme working out for my vehicles.

This is close to my current scheme

I've only really ever seen Cadians in their scheme with the green armour. If it's been black it has generally been an urban camo scheme. So to me it isn't over used at least.

Is that a stand in for Sgt. Harker? Either way, love the BFG.

Remember that infantry and armour aer likely to be from different regiments. There is no problem in having a differnt scheme fro each. I rather like the maroon/brown scheme you've shown.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Flinty, you make a good point. I'll have to think this over some more.

Mine are Purple/brown with armour in brown/maroon and the Sentinels in Maroon/Purple so anything goes!

Agreed. In almost all modern armies the infantry and armor are completely separate units, though they are used and deployed together many times.
