So here it is, My finished Silver Tower fir for a Sorcerer! took a good while to build and was really fun to paint! knowing my luck it will crash and burn on turn 1 of its first outing! lol

Tis a rare thing to see someone make a silver tower, let alone a damn good one.

Only have 2 ideas though, which 1 is a niggle and the other is just a taste differ.

1: I'd find a bigger base for it, the current oval looks far too small and a tad unstable.

2: Ive seen one before that has chained rocks attached to the base of the tower, giving it more of a gravity defying look. (like in a pic of it)
Dont know really why, but it just seems to really bring the model to life.

That is the only good Silver Tower I've ever seen.

Absolutely brilliant very cool model certainly better than a few pringles boxes stuck together.

This is very nice indeed!
Love the odd contraptions and extra details that borders on alchemy rather than science. The details are many and chaos relation is clear, but its all very clean and far from busy. Somehow I get the feeling there is a whole lot of mysterious and weird stuff going on inside that tower, exactly as a tower of T should have.
Perhaps you should glue a upsidedown cultist to that upsidedown underside altar for extra weird effect.
At first I rejected the red ground as "not tzeench enough", but it quickly grew on me.
Good work, this piece got me all exited!

Thanks for the Comments everyone! To Fayric, The red ground is to match my gaming table thats martian themed. I like to imagine my Sorcerer lord found an old Bastion and using his arcane powers ripped it from the ground and warped it to his own evil designs!

If i was ever to do it again i would probably go that extra mile and create some kind of strobing multicolour light beam thing for inside, would look amazing coming through the grating on the parapet!

I'm going to go against the grain here, but the use of the 40k Bastion really isn't doing it for me. It makes it look a little too... "out of the box" and not as archaic and/or bizzare of how I'd imagine a Silver Tower to look like. I think you were on the right track with the arcane ruins but adding them to the Bastion makes it look a little mishmash from an aesthetic standpoint.

Whilst mechanically it is a nice conversion and the paintjob is nice, it does not hit the correct aesthetic buttons with me.
