Having finished my Circle Orboros models I'm moving on to my next project which is to put together some Khador models... about 50+ worth of models by the end of this June.

I'll be working on the following:

Kommander Orsus Zoktavir (eButcher)
Beast 09
3 Spriggans (yes... 3...)
A full unit of Man-O-War Shocktroopers
A full unit of Widowmakers
A Man-O-War Drakhun
A Koldun Lord
A Widowmaker Marksman
Eiryss, Angel of Retribution (eEiryss)

The models don't exactly exude the feeling of 'conscripts' but that's what I think of when I think of Khador in general... in fact my other idea for some Khador stuff was to go full Winterguard Deathstar and rifleman. I went with eButcher because he's one of my favorite beatsticks. Beast 09, I hear, can be pretty vicious so I thought to add him in. The Spriggans I'm putting in for their reach and because I like the look of their models. I'm going for three because I have a list that's full jacks and that included three Spriggans and Beast 09. The Man-O-War Shocktroopers are mostly in because of their durability with shield wall... plus they might help with screening the Butcher... not that I plan to keep Orsus back, though. The Widowmakers are to add some autowounds to help whittle groups of infantry or bigger targets. The Drakhun I put in because I've always like that model. He should add some hitting power maybe helping with taking down some infantry. The Widowmaker Marksman is there to improve my Widowmakers. The Koldun Lord is to add some help to the 'Jacks (Free Focus!). I've never played with an Eiryss model before whether it be normal Eiryss or her epic version. I kind of like the look of Epic Eiryss, plus she seems like she would do for me.

I meant to start the project the first weekend of June but while working on some other stuff I was able to get started with eButcher, Beast 09, and one of the Spriggans. I was able to get them built and primed. Next up will be the other 2 Spriggans and then I'll work on the infantry.

I finished building the rest of my Khador force.

Spriggans Two and Three - Just as fun as Spriggan One

Drakhun on horse - This wasn't as hard as I remember it being the first time around. Or maybe they simplified the model. I love its heft of the model.

Drakhun dismounted - Easy-Peasy. This was my first experience with a plastic Man-O-War model. I like how the pieces fit. Upgrade bits to make it a Drakhun were easy to add.

Man-O-War Shocktroopers - These were a breeze to go through. The leader, with his extra badge bits, was a slight challenge. Nothing that a pair of tweezers couldn't handle.

Widowmakers - Just a bit of flash cleaning then plopping onto bases. Easy models, nice sculpts. I hope I paint these better than my first Widowmakers.

Wreck Markers - Mostly just some flash needed cleaning. The tops don't exactly fit to the bottoms that's fine since it doesn't mess with the footprint of the model. I probably will mostly be just using the bottoms anyway.

Widowmaker Marksman - Easy to put together... body and gun... I just wish the bottom of the body had more glue real estate...the thing is barely attached to the base.
Koldun Lord - As detailed as this guy is, you'd think he would be harder to put together. Everything fit like a glove.

Eiryss, Angel of Retribution - Hardest model of the night to put together. Even, then, it wasn't that difficult in general... just more difficult than what I was working on tonight.

Getting them ready to be taken down to the garage for some spraying....mmmmm fumes...

Today I primed the rest of the models... they're in the garage drying out as I type this so no pics of them.

I got started on the three I models I already had primed... eButcher, Beast 09, and Spriggan One. I only did the red parts on them. I started with 3 coats of P3 Skorne Red. Then I highlighted the edges with P3 Khador Red. I mixed some P3 Khador Red HIghlight with the P3 Khador Red and used that mixture for some further highlighting.

Got 2 models painted up this evening. eButcher and Beast 09.

This was my second eButcher and I like how this one turned out. The previous one I bloodied up so you couldn't really see the different colors... everything was basically red. This time I kept the blood off. I really like how Beast 09 turned out and I'm pretty proud of how the ice and runes turned out on him.

I am consolidating my work into one thread. Further progress will be displayed on my 'Workbench' thread:
