Hi i just wanted to ask will this be acceptable as a lascannon heavy bolter pred?

As a general rule as long as it is the same size it's acceptable, that (once painted) should look pretty cool and no one should have a problem with it (although if you wanted to take it to tournaments I'd make sure the TO is cool with it since it technically isn't wysiwyg).

Put some wings on it and it might be acceptable as Storm Talon

and as for the storm talon thing it would need a assault cannon to work

also any ideas on what i can use as a vengeance launcher on a stormeagle conversion i was thinking typhoon missile launchers?

I'd say ok (but I'm good sport).

If your opponent is picky, he could point out hurricane bolters instead of heavy ones. Apart from that, completly legal IMHO.

It gets the idea across, but I think the hurricane bolters could cause irritation. For friendly games it should pass muster, though.

Yeah, apart from maybe the hurricane bolters causing slight problems, it should be fine. The only thing people would complain about is that you didn't pay as much as them for the same vehicle and thats their problem

I was planning on using them as heavy bolters but if i can use hurricane bolters i'm even happier about that

If you put that on the table and called it a predator with lascannon and heavy bolter sponsons? For sure I'd play you in a friendly game, but not in a tournament.

They don't mean you can use them as Hurricane Bolters just that it might cause confusion if you had say a Ironclad (with Hurricane Bolters) or a LRC as they would both look the same but would be different weapons, get what I mean?

I.e. It's not "counts as" as not every Hurricane Bolter in your army will be a HB

Those might be a little too small (althoguh i'm not 100% sure of the scale of a Storm Eagle). Maybe try and source the launcher parts off a Whirlwind?

That would be the only complaint Id have, if I chose to give one. Id be fine with it as-is, but Im not a stickler. As far as the lascannon turret I think its cool, a very neat variation.
