Hello again all, I'm back with some more Photos of my latest work to share with you all, as always C&C is welcome

This model is a war ravaged office block, I really wanted to make it look like the building has had all sorts of weaponry thrown at it, and also look grim and imposing

Thanks for looking!

That is a very well done piece of terrain. Your weatherization is superb!

aaww, was hoping to see a hilarious 40k office room with cubicals with all the different Xenos etc. This is still pretty good

That's an excellent piece of scenery, and the painting is top-notch. The weathered look is perfect too.

Come to think of it, it reminds me a lot of those type buildings in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Anyone else know what I'm on about?

I really like the weathering and the battle damage but the exposed re-bar looks wrong- the angles are off- re-bar is placed inside the walls parallel to the walls and floors whereas you have it at roughly 45 degrees.
Other than that, it's an excellent piece.

It looks good (hell, it looks amazing!) but I worry about its playability. The rubble on the ground floor is so extensive, I am concerned that models wouldn't be able to stand on it. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but I've run into a player or two that will take the 'wobbly model syndrome' rule to its extreme. The areas clear of the rubble look amazing too, and I really like how it has multiple levels, all interactive. Seriously, this is a great piece of terrain.

awesome!! im your first YT sub!!
i'd really love to see some tutorials on how you make that sort of terrain! and what i really love is that the floor is filled up to the ceiling with rubble because of the collapsed walls!
*edit*
did you do the bullet holes with an airgun with plastic bullets?? kind of looks like it and atleast inspired me to try that on some foamboard

Hello all,

Thank you for your posts and replys! Also thanks for the advice on the re-bar, I shall make sure I fix that on future pieces!

Kal-El - the posters are ment to be put up after its damage, also it adds a bit of colour, breaks up the grey.

Jimsolo - As for the rubble I do agree with you, not every bit of rubble can be stood upon but this I agree has not enough spaces on the bottum, I shall hopefully improve this in the future.

The re bar is just wire mesh

DijnsK - thanks for subing the bullet holes are done with a pencil

Thanks again to everyone for there lovely comments and helpful advice.

I brought a few buildings from this gentleman when he was first starting out, and in over a year they have never failed to get a comment on how nice they are.
A very friendly and personable chap, he will happily set about any random colour scheme you desire and produce some awesome work.
Check out these Iceworld building he made for me to go with a marine army I was planning.

Cool building what does the green poster say though on the wall on the second floor?

We are winged salvation, but we are a terrible, final salvation, and our wings embrace the horizon with fire. We are the Blood Angels. To confront us is to die, and death is my remit, my reality, my unbounded domain. I have known death, and defeated it, claimed it as my own. To my cost, to my strength, death is my one gift to bestow, and I am nothing if not generous.
