Ok this is my plan for a honor guard in terminator armour, its just a quick scetch but I hope to be getting a terminator kit this week, then I will be making my start!

Ok, I got the kit this morning and I have made my first honor guard using plasticard, green stuff and the assault terminator kit. Hope you like it, tell me your opinions!

Nice work on the greenstuff and plasticarding! Looks really sweet. A whole squad of this guys will really stand out as a centrepiece to an army.

Not so nice work on the photography. Also, are you going to clean up that huge mold line on the thunder hammer? It's really bugging me.

Ha Ha! Yeah I will fix up the mold line, I was just so glad I had finished the converting part, I just wanted to post it! Also sorry about the camera, it will be a while before I can get a better one. :(

Sorry dude, That wasn't done with a mold. I will post a stage by stage guide if you would like.

Thanks, while I'm sculpting my next eagle mask, what should the rules be for these guys? I know I could just use them as assault terminators for in store games, but when I play with my friends at home we use all sorts of special units and experimental rules. Let me know what you think. I will start a new thread in the proposed rules section too.

Yeah! I've finished my second honor guard now! This time his is on his thunder hammer. I have made a tutorial on how I did the green stuff Icons so be sure to check it out if you are doing a project like this!

Thought I'd post up a group photo of the squad so far. Also I'm thinking of adding a banner to the squad, what do you think of that Idea?

Just sanded down one of the chest plates and put a there instead.

Something you might try for future "U" symbols is take 2 pieces of paper and draw the symbol "outside" of one of them, then sandwich some greenstuff between the two and let it dry. Then take a fresh and very sharp hobby knife blade and cut it out of the greenstuff, following the lines on the paper.

Once it's cut out, soak it in water for an hour or so, or until the paper pulls free.

Not sure what camera you have but make sure macro is on, if you have it. (little flower icon on most camera's)

Your greenstuff work is really exceptional, these are fantastic. As for rules, you could use the Assault Terminator Rules but give them Frag and Krak Grenades for an extra 2 points / model and give one of the squad the honour or death special rule.

Good thinking! If Iuse these next Saturday I will just use them as assault terminators though. I can't wait to see these guys kill things - However knowing my armour saves rolls they will just get shot up!
