Not sure if this is useful enough for News/Rumours (mods, apologies, please delete/move if deemed unimportant) but I've just come from my local Games Workshop in the UK and they were giving out these cards with "23.VI.12" on. They only started today, and all the staff 'believe' it's directly related to 6th Ed (although they havent been told anything for sure.) Have you seen these cards before? Possible confirmation for 23rd release? Or am I over-reading into something everybody has already seen a dozen times?

Between this and the YouTube trailer last week i think the general opinion is that 23/06 will be announcement of 6th Ed and when you can put in you pre-orders. They might also be havign preview games in-store.

I thihnk the actual book itself is supposed to hit the shelves the following week on the 30th.

Belfast store put a pic of these on their Facebook a week ago. When I phoned in to check if 40k gaming was on (as there is currently a fantasy campaign on). I was told.no but these are the exact words the ataff member used.

'No but there is Ariel Assault next saturday( all flyer battle) and since that's the release date for 6th we will be giving a test run in the game."

So assuming it does release of 23rd then I will be getting a crash course using a Stormraven, some assault marines and a Stormtalon.

Well, the 23rd of June is also the release date of the new WD which may then may give a climpse or more.

I'm looking foward to 6th edition being spread out amongst the next five white dwarfs, haha

Funny enough when the Stormtalon came out and I bought it the manager tried to convince me I would really want to be there June 23rd for the Aerial battles and special surprises. Not being the kind to play in a GW I brushed him off, guess he meant sixth trial rules perhaps!

My Store is holding a Raffle on the 23rd. There are various ways in which you can earn these tickets, but one such way caught my eye:

"One Raffle Ticket for Every Pre-Order".

So, methinks the 23rd will just be the day they announce it and the day you're allowed to Pre-Order the new stuff.
