Hello again Dakka peoples,

Here we are with my 2nd effort after rejoining the hobby after 20 years. This was a fun model to paint, and actually took a lot less time than my squad of Paladins. I assembled the model is smaller pieces to enable me to paint the hard to get to areas, before doing the final assembly oncce everything was painted.

Initially I simply stuck him on his base, but this didn't look very nice and felt unfinished, so I went back and built up some sand around his feet and did some mud splatters up his greaves - this helped tie the model in nicely with the base I feel.

Your metal looks very flat, both the golds and silvers. Some washes around the edges, and in the recesses of the armour-scripture will help with definition.
