First off, hello there and welcome to dakka.
Well, from what I can see, your orks look good for a first try. You seem to have painted them very neatly, well done. However, you should try taking better pictures so we can see more of the models and judge them better.... try getting the light source in front of the model, not behind it.

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

Much better photos now!
Well, your brush control seems to be good, your color choice too. Nice checks on the shoulders.
I think the green on the skin is ok, but if you think it'd look better with a lighter color, go for it!
But I think the colors you used are a bit too glossy. You could use GWs colros, sure, but they are quite expensive... I have switched to vallejos colors, they are really good!

what is vallejos? i am painting another 13 boyz with those acrilics and it goes very well. anyway i was wondering should i add some paint to the legs? and there's another problem i dont have metal colors so i jut use grey to drybrush does it really matter if its metal or grey?
thanks

Nah that stuff doesn't matter at all - who's to say your orcs don't come from a planet with a rich obsidian deposit? Glassy black blades for everyone then!

Your call on painting the trousers a different colour, though if you choose to leave them black, definitely edge highlight it with some grey, and pick out the thread details too.

(Ps, vallejo is another manufacturer of very good paints, they're cheaper than GW afaik, and the range includes paints specific for air brushes etc. I'll hand over to other people to give you more details on them though)

You can't use greenstuff to build a dred, you'd need way too much and it'd be way too complicated. What you need is plasticard!
However, that is still very, very hard to do. Have a look at this one, by jerseydevil:

Bare in mind that if you're new the hobby you'll want to start out easy by buying a base miniature, such as a deff dred or whatever, and using plasticard / greenstuff to customise it. As MrMerlin says though, GS can be a real bitch to work with and is really a skill in and of its own, get down to your FLGS for an intro to it, but expect hours of frustration and tantrums if you have the same fun that I did!

I'd make it look real rusty and old. Basecoat it with a dark brown and drybrush it with brighter, redder browns. And don't forget the oil stains!

DOn't worry about having basecoated already, the brown will go over it, just use plenty of layers (not thick layers mind you, you'll cake it and you want to preserve the detail, so lots of smaller, thin layers)

Good start to the orks sofar! The gloss throws me off a little but your paint skills are pretty good for a begginer esp the checks, add a little highlight to the skin and it will bring it up a notch but its a great table top army in the start.. also, if your interested in scratch build dreads check out my blog in my sig. i actually just started one and have posted some wip shots that might help you starting your own, its build all from plasticard, tubing, sprue and a few random bits. the bits could easily be removed and built from scratch, i used the bits i had cause its a little easier.

Plasticard can be purchased at most hobby shops and model rail road shops, also most gaming shops will sell a small selection. it comes in various thicknesses and designs, plain, diamond plate, ribbed, ect. then there is plasic tubing, square tubing, i beams ect. for scratch build stuff its great! in a pinch you can use for sale signs from walmart/hardware store ect... for tubing you can use lollipop stcks ect. get creative. here are some links to plasticard as examples
