On one hand, it's WGF

On the other hand, it's WGF

Quite a step up from their original ones, at least imo. Though I'm waiting for close ups and sprue pics

Hi Everybody,
Here is a peek at the upcoming Zombie Vixens. They will be debuted at Gen Con (August 16th-19th). We are truly excited about this new kit and I think you will be too!
If you are attending Gen Con, please stop by our booth (#1649) to visit us and see the Vixens in person.
We will have great convention specials, prize drawings, and you will get a FREE ZOMBIE VIXENS SPRUE with every purchase.
Thanks for your support,

More than a step up, I'd call that a giant leap forwards in quality! Those are really great sculpts.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

They look really nice.

I liked their previous lower quality Zombie pack as well. I don't want/need my hordes of Zombies to have personalities.

Now I'm quite free with criticism of WF but on this occasion they appear to have pulled it out of the bag!

I also would like to see the sprues and having only looked from th phone I'll still say these look pretty good.

On the PRO side, I have to admit they look pretty sweet and I want them

On the CON side, they are about 2 years late.

I wanted to really support War Games Factory, especially the Liberty And Union League, but all the most requested products were Sci Fi and their product releases for the last 2 years, barring the trenchcoats, have been fantasy and WWII. It just annoys the heck out me.

Technically, it's not the same company.

Great paint on those!

Wonder if some of those heads could be used to make the Amazons decent? Also wonder if the sprue has enough not decomposed to make decent civilians/hostages/VIPs/etc.

Was thinking the exact same thing, and as I have a few sets of the upcomming studio miniature plastic zombies on order, I'd really love to get my hands on a few of these kits as well.
Are they available for order yet?

@Gitkikka: What do you mean, it's not exactly the same company?

I heard there was so hoo-ha that resulted in the split to Defiance Games (I'm still fuzzy as to the exact reason) but was there something else?

Man, why do they keep doing this? A better approach is just the figs, preferably well painted ala the GW and Shock troopers box. These 90's esque renders are terrible!

Compared to thier first batch- these are 100% better.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

That's pretty much it. The original crew was pushed out of the company by the new majority owner and they ended up creating Defiance Games.

Both companies seem to have increased the quality of their products after the split. Strange, but they seem to work better apart than together.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Hmm some people at Gencon snapped up a few. A TMPer has sprue shots

Not much detail I can see because of the photo, but you can at least see the basic shapes

Some of these gals have high heels. Those are going to be easy to break

Those heels are thin. Impractical for the modern zombie woman too.

This is the first miniature wargaming set I've seen that has purses as separate bitz accessories. That is so awesome.

^ This. Just love it. It's about time women's accessories got some hardcore plastic limelight.

I can't see the pictures anymore on the thread, can some of the heads pass for regular females, instead of decayed females?

I'd say some of the heads could pass for the living. Not smiling happy people mind you.

Ordered two boxes a week or so back and was just informed they are on route, very anxious to actaully see these up close and in the rotted flesh.

FITZZ: Please let us know how they look and how passable they can be for non zombies (especially the heads). Clear pics would be awesome.

Will do.
I'm actually interested in how they'll size up when placed on the table against other companies minis.
I've got a dozen or so Chronoscope " survivors" miniatures, which work well with GW's whfb zombies, but absolutely dwarf the Hassle Free Miniature survivors that I have, so it'll be nice to see ( size wise) how the zombie vixens "size up".
