been working on this guy over the last few days still a bit more detail to go on yet eg. More lightning bolts.
I've gone for a big bulky look for him especially the head and torso area. he's in a suit of mk1 plate and has a old style chainsword and bolt pistol. .

Dose any one have any links to colour schemes for these guys?

All feedback appreciated.

Yes, it is. I like the OP model, too.

nice wculpt. maybe there is info in the horus heresy book outcast dead.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

The pic on the far left is a Space Marine in thunder armour.

Thunder Warriors were genetically programmed to die after the unification wars.

I am currently taking commissions.

He does look a little chaosy, it's probably the arrows on his armour.
But I still reeeally like this model

You don't really have to follow what the GW model looks like, because it's actually fluffy for each thunder warrior to look different from one another. There was no uniform armour.

Cheers guys finished the gs work this morning so once thats set I'll start on the paint.

Yep I've read the outcast dead. And seen the marines in mk1. Just didnt know if there had been any fluff giving the names and details of the thunder warrior regiments. Like ther is with the old 100 imperial army regiments.

If not then i think a bright colour scheme would look best. These guys were suposed to be proto astartes and superior in combat than marines so cant really see them sneaking around. .

They couldn't sneak about anyway, the lower portion of their armor wasn't powered like the later versions of power armor, so you could hear them coming a mile off and they were slower because of it also.
