So I'm not a huge fan of Dark Angels. I decided I wanted to convert these guys anyways so I tried to make them assault Termies. I kinda wish I had cut off the Sgts Wing thingies but I'm not gonna try it at this point. What do yall think?

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

They are going to be yellow. They will pretty much be Imperial Fists but I do black helmets instead of White for elites so they are not technically painted as strict Fluff Imperial Fists.

Any chance you could give a few pics of the finished product?
I'd like to see how they turn out.
Was there much DA iconography other than the shoulders?

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

I didn't remove too much. The shoulder pads with DA stuff are seperate so thats easy. The rest is little stuff that isn't to hard for me to overlook. I can live with a sword instead of a skull in the chest eagle. I left all the little feathers because I lack the skill/patience to remove them nicely.

This guy I just covered the little DA device with GS and will paint something on the flat surface.

This Guy i just cut the wings off and I'm going to paint the blade as some sort of crystal or something

I didn't really take any iconography off this guy

And I figure a death angel looking guy like the one on thise dudes shin isn't necessarily exclusive to the DA.

The Troops however are a B-word to clean up. This guy I did with just a knife. He needs a bit of smoothing out because right now his pad looks like it was made by the Flintsones.

I'm thinking about doing a similar thing with my set. Looking at getting the FW imperial fists pads and sculpting robes... trying to work out if it will be too much work or not.

Heres the Chappy. Took off the shoulder pad. I had done a little GS on his belt buckle, didnt like it and covered it with the big groin guard but I might take it back off. Not a lot of stuff, mostly just un-DAing him. Biggest thing was turning his cape into a fur cloak.

Thoughts/idea/suggestions?

Sure. Ill get one up a bit later when I get a chance. Its actually pretty bad as I shoulda used some GS and was too lazy. All I did was cut off the sword at the wrist and glue the Storm Shield on.
