Well i finally got there, although i keep seeing bits that i want to touch up (even if i am more at risk of ruining all my work then fixing it).

Regardless here he is, based and as good as finished as i'm ever going to get. I used hawk turquoise for the main highlight and templar blue for the finest lines. Coupled with the bronze and gold i hoped to give it a Tzeentch feel. Meanwhile the slate used on the base was a rare find while out in the garden. It's probably my best work to date and although i can sit and pick fault at each tiny smudge or uneven line, i think it has come out quite well.

If anyone has any crit or tips to help me improve i'm more than happy to hear then and certainly earger to learn.

With all that said, enjoy ^^

I really like it. Love the basing but I do have a question, is that base legal, I mean can you play a game with this guy or is this model only for display purposes?

I think you are allowed bigger bases but not smaller. Regardless i rarely play anymore, so he is more of a display piece.

Ah ok, I rarely play myself anymore, I would really love to see some close ups of the model if you have time to post pictures.

Nice work. My only criticism would be that the rock looks very plain - did you paint it or is it just raw slate? It looks like it could do with some washing and drybrushing.

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

Very nice. I am now jealous that I can't upload photos of my own.

That model is excellent. Really fine work on GWs part. Your painting looks solid. I have thus far loved every iteration I have seen of this guy. If I don't pick up DV I will definitely still get this guy. He has Sorcerer Lord written all over him. Great work.

Hmm, is the plasma pistol painted? Other than that, nice base!
