Very nice, but the banner/loin cloth looks a bit too big.

Thanks! The loincloth is tricky to trim down as its the GK terminator banner and I don't want to lose any of the detail...otherwise yeah, I'd take a centimetre or so off it.

I like it! Can we get a few more shots from different angles?

Totally need more angles and maybe a write up on what you did to get to that point. I would be willing to field this dreadknight

Wayy better. Only thing is the position of the arms is covering up the awesome conversion!

That is a very good version, I have seen 3 or 4 now and they are all radically different but all very good.

Not meaning to annoy you, but I really like this one.

The head looks a little crappy compare to yours but it is a decent attempt. But I think yours is more in-keeping with the current Grey knights.

Cannot wait to see yours Painted up.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

I have never seen a conversion like this (been under a rock, apparently). Really great idea! Also the conversion looks great too. Looking forward to seeing it painted!

I think it looks really good. Menacing pose and great use of parts from other kits.

And if your wondering, that other dreadknight posted is my work and the head was sculpted from scratch. My gallery shows it in the wip stage and its much larger than a regular sized head. So I get alittle miffed if someone refers to it as "crappy".

Back to the OP, looking forward to seeing it finished up.

great concept.
i 'd kept the arms in their old position, to keep the center of this miniature, where your conversion mainly took place more exposed to the beholder.
with the arms crossed in the front of the torse the whole mini to me seems a bit to crowded in the centre.
but nevertheless ... - i really like your conversion much better than the original style.

I think if you removed the arm pistols and braces, it would reduce the size of the Miniature and naturally bring your eye to the centre where the detail is.

I've never liked the design, of the braces outside of the armour, you would easily disable this vehicle cutting the Piston/ rams and then the arms would be disabled?

Cheers for the comments everyone! Glad it seems to have gone down well...I'll try to get a list of parts and a few details of construction up in the next few day, and I'll obviously post some pics when the paint job is finished.

It's funny you should say that mwnciboo, shortly after the original post I removed the pistons and its definitely looking a lot more natural.
