Well its been many many years in the making but I have finally finished my IG army! The last defence between the 13th Crusade and Terra ( I started this army with the launch of the eye of terror book!!!)

Thats it all done no more........maybe!

Looks great but it's silly-difficult trying to see any details. Closer shots would be much appreciated. Hate to be a stickler but if I can't see detail I'm not interested.

Fantastic color scheme for the troops I like the leather look for the body armor. Well done.

Your Baneblade is gorgeous, but I can tell immediately it's not the stock GW one. Forgeworld or Armourcast?

That said, everything is amazing. Great colour scheme, great detail, great basing and great photography. I can only hope that when I post my Guard army it looks this good.

Yes the brown is scorched brown. I still use and like that colour.
As Truffle said is the Mars pattern FW one. They came with numbered certificates this one is number 1513 its painted on the hull.

I really don't plan on adding any more as I have far to many armies and never rally play with this one any more but I had to finish off the last few squads so I knew it was done!

I use that same Cadian officer as my I.G. Colonel and I love to see different takes on him.

I wanted to get a real world feel to the army and just loved collecting them. Played with them for about 6 months then got bored of such a big army to manoeuvre around the table so started a grey night army

looks awesome.

This is my main goal: to keep my ork army as well painted as your army is despite its size. All of my friends have maybe 700pts of models painted...and one guy has easily 25k in Blood Angels worth of points but maybe 1000 worth is painted.

Blank models are boring. This is definitely NOT boring lol.
