New to this forum, while im not a gamer and am only interested in black library fiction, being a leathersmith by trade iv been making some 40k inspired cuffs lately.
Here they are. all my work is handcarved using quality vegetable tanned leather.
Tanith 'First and Only'
Inquisition 'Ordo Xenos'
Imperial Aquila. this one i roughed up for a wartorn look
Hope this sparks some interest. you can see more pictures of these alongside my otherwork on my blog (signature link). the aquila cuff is for sale in my etsy shop too (signature link)

I'm not entirely sure you should advertise this too openly, or you will find good old GW dropping a large pile of bricks on you from a great height labelled 'copyright infringement'... GW even slapped down someone who put out 3D printing instructions for something that was in the same 'theme' as the leman russ and Sentinel, so if they notice, they will come after you with a cease and desist.

I did not think a few cuffs would have flagged up much of a problem but your most likely correct thanks for the heads up!

To be fair, they were a little more than "in the style" of the Leman Russ and Sentinel, they were blatant clones.
Anyway, awesome work!

Didn't realize you could copywrite Latin or a symbol thats been used since forever by other cultures. Buth then again, thats what the CHS lawsuit is about.

meh, the details were different on those 3D print jobs from the GW models, including the weapons, and considering that the sentinel is a direct AT- AT Star Wars Clone, and the Leman Russ a direct lift of a WW1 Tank anyway... for those particuilar things it was a fairly grey area, but this is different.
But anyway, I forgot to say last time, great job on the leatherwork, I do really like it!
