Hey guys,
On the Infinity official site a friend and myself were designing resin scatter terrain pieces for our gaming tables. Unfortunately I bought too much resin and we ended up with a surplus that we sold over Ebay to recoup our investment. With such a decent sale record we decided to ask a friend of ours who owns a plastic injection business (Proxie Models) if he'd be interested carrying our creations. Several months later the first mold has been cut and plastic terrain is now falling out of the machine. The item he's got selling so far is our Assault Drop Barriers, which were designed as disposable assault cover for incursions into enemy territory, because lets face it: they arn't going to set you up any advantageous cover in advance of you setting foot on their streets. These barriers give partial cover to troops and remotes, and look stylish on an Infinity table.
He unfortunately put the post on the news and rumors subforum and was hacked to death by 40k fans, so I figured I'd put the post in the right place for the correct audience.
Here's a URL Link to his shop page, he has several things right now in 28mm and will be expanding upon those over time as we throw more of our resin creations into CAD.
Also here's a link to my post on the official infinity forums about crafting our own resin scenery, kinda gives a preview to what will be avaliable next in plastic.

Looks great.
I would drop dime in a heart beat for the following:
ATMs
Futuristic Parking Kiosks
Vending machines
Dumpsters
Decent Street Lights
Data Terminals
Phone Booths/Terminals
Building Tech Doors
Beveled Window Borders

Proxie Models are great. I follow his blog and he's got quite a bit of terrain coming out of his moulds, and a one-man plastics moulding business is American determination at its best.
I'll definitely check these out, and see what postage to the UK would be like.
Could you link to the original thread he posted?

The last link posted on my primary post is to my personal Scatter Terrain thread on the official forums. On there we have several city items that we've been selling in resin on ebay (all the excess we printed than we could use). In that selection are 3 vending machines (1 soda machine and 2 vending), fire hydrants, planters, and a bus stop (the bus stop is being revamped for plastic production to look ALOT more futuristic).
Here's a pic of the resin vending machines that is our next choice to get into plastic:
And the link to the news and rumours thread is here
And here is Ken's Blog
I offered a competition on the official forums as I would love to see our drop barriers painted up by the community (our paintjobs are pretty decent, to really good, but I'd love to see the variety of your imagined looks). As such, anyone who has bought our resin drop barriers, or buys the new plastic ones, post a pic of your best painted one on here (or the official forums thread here) on or before December 16th and the best painted as chosen by Ken, Apostate, and myself will recieve a free set of the vending machines as soon as they're avaliable in plastic. Should be a nice little christmas treat for one lucky person.
As for shipping to the UK, it should be around $5-6 (think that's around 4 quid with the exchange rate), with about 0.85c per extra ounce. His store auto-calculates the shipping I do believe so you can have an idea of cost before submitting any payment or order.

As for the 40k only crowd... they complained about the lack of chunkyness and skulls, I think only 1 post was truely positive and I'm not even sure if that guy plays 40k lol.
And as for the quoted post... That's exactly why we started making resin pieces. We were sick of urban/city scapes looking rather boring using the same scenery over and over again or having to pay a fortune for something that looked decent. We developed a bunch of master models out of plasticard (over 5-6 months) and cast them into RTV rubber, and I didn't realise I'd ordered 1/3 of a gallon of resin too much so we ended up with loads of spares to sell on ebay. Initially we just wanted to make stuff only for our own tables, but it really supprised us that we were selling so many and at the prices they were going for (way more than Ken's chargeing for the plastic for 2/3rds the amount of stuff) so we decided to see if our friend (Ken) was interested in making and selling our stuff. That was about 2 months ago and now we're gobsmacked to see our barriers on sprues and falling out of his machine. To Apostate and myself, we're just happy to know that our stuff is going to be helping enhance what is one of the best tabletop games we've ever played and helping such a great community enjoy the game even more.
To give an idea of what's to come, currently we have (in resin):
Bus Stop
Large and Small planters
Large and Small Crates
Huge bio-crates (currently being used as a skin sleeve bio-storage pod for Aleph, kinda like the Borg but using cold stasis)
Drop Barriers
Soda Machine
2 different Vending Machines
Fire Hydrant
and a building doo-hickey thing-a-majig (still dosn't have a real name, it just attaches to buildings like a power distribution panel / supporting beam / gas meter etc etc...
In the works we have modular sidewalk, that if we can get done in plastic will be cheap enough and really help bring urban tables to life. We have joked about making an open-topped bus so that we could write rules for driving it and fireing from it as a combined order between 2 infantry... or being pushed by a TAG.

I agree. It's the little things that make it.
Things I would add would be
Garbage cans
Benches
Road construction signs and barriers
Light posts
Energy stations for charging electric vehicles
Planters
Other things for going up against buildings are cool too.
Cash stations
kiosks

We're considering a few of those for once we have our current line in plastic, along with plastic shipping containers that are similar dimentions to the out of production AT-43 ones that seem to sell for $60 on ebay.
Planters we already had, but they were one of our least selling item on ebay, so I'm re-designing them as a hex with a bench between 2 of them. Should be good to sit up against a building and will be nicely aesthetic as well as functional as partial cover.
As soon as we have something concrete I'll post the designs here.

While we're waiting on Ken to get to making the molds (vending machines won't be ready untill christmas time at the earliest, possibly longer) we're still putting all the extra resin stuff up for sale (we have been using ebay, but we know that having to charge extra to cover the fees can hurt both sides). As the main "issue" has been lack of other products to order with the new plastic walls (and selling the walls being the determining factor to if we can have Ken make more molds for us...) we're creating a city-scape scenery package out of our resin pieces and the new plastic walls.
The whole box contains 12 walls (2 sets), 6 vending machines (2 of each type), a bus stop, 2 bio crates, 2 large crates, and 3 small crates. We're looking at doing them for $40 which includes 2-3 day priority shipping to the US, $41 (first class) or $47 priority to Canada, and either $45 (first class - up to 3 weeks) or $50 priority shipped to the rest of the world. It's approx 12ozs of scenery and should be a decent amount to provide plenty of flavour and partial cover to your tables. I believe we're limited to a max of 10 of these sets before we start running out of the resin pieces, but I can always sub stuff in if it's agreeable.
We could also do half boxes, or assortments per request at a per-item level if needed, and could even sub out certain items for others if you wanted 1 less of something and 1 more of something else. And of course with christmas only a few weeks away, make sure you get yourself a little present too!
Here's a pic of the Scenery Box Set (we're using the resin walls to sub for the plastic ones because I only have 4 on me right now lol, oh and the infinity figures are only for scale and do not come in the set)

Great stuff, really looking forward to those vending machines going on sale!
Actually found your site ages ago while looking for some reasonably priced FoW terrain, but then managed to lose the link so no doubt will be adding some of those ruins to the order as well when the other Infinity stuff is on there!

Yep everything will be in plastic eventually, but it will take time, alot of time. He has other obligations that he must fulfill before he can make each of our molds, so we're looking at 2-3 months per mold. So for now we have the resin prints (high quality pressure cast resin with little to no bubbles) untill we run out.
The pack won't be on the store website as it's mostly our stuff rather than Ken's, so if anyone is interested then please PM me and we can sort out the details.

I'll have to take care of that request tomorrow or friday. I've twisted a muscle in my lower back and I'm somewhat unable to move much. My meds are knocking me out whenever I take them so I'm groggy most of the time I'm awake.
Most of the items can be seen single on my thread on the official infinity forums (link is above in one of my posts here) and I'll detail out the individual prices as soon as I can.

Bus Stop $5
Plastic Assault Drop Barriers (x6) $7
Bio-crates $1.50
Large crates $0.75
Small crates $0.50

It's on the drawing board somewhere, but there was some talk of "do ATM's still exist?" being that their wrist cnsole does most of that for them.
We may do one regardless, but it won't be for a while, as we still have alot of stuff to get into metal molds first.
Hopefully I can get those photos on tonight, these meds are really knocking me out

I think that thing in the background is an ATM:
Anyway, where do we go to order these excellent scenery elements? A lot of your links now seem to be broken?

I just fixed the links, both the infinity official forums and Ken just changed to different systems/hosts and all the links went dead. I have them pointing to the correct place now, but Ken is still working on his webstore and it'll be fully functional again shortly.
For the scenery box set (and any resin single pieces) just send me a PM and we can take it from there. Just need to know what you would like and where I'd be shipping to.
I'll be picking up the plastic drop barriers on Monday from Ken and will be able to ship after that.
Oh and as for the ATM, it shouldn't be an issue, we will get one designed and put the design out for critique before we go ahead with the mold... but again, this will take time lol.
