So I recently acquired a large amount of Dark Eldar and, I've always owned right around 2 years now, but have never gotten around to painting them. I've painted a few models, and decided that this is the army for me, here's some of those models

Your DE look very good so far! I love the snowy bases, how did you make them?
Also, that space marine helmet is a very nice touch!

Very impressive indeed nice mix of colours and eye catching bases.

The snow is woodland scenic's snow that has had clear red applied to make the blood effects.

Quite brutal looking. The snow effects are excellent.

I've finished some new stuff including the webway portals (yeas that is what those semi-circles are. Also here's some updates on ongoing things like the razorwing I started today with it's airbrushed colour scheme, I'm not sure how much more I want to do with it, if anything at all when it comes to the paint scheme on the vechilce, mind you it's just a wip. Also I magnetized all my raiders for my new battlefoam case that's coming in in roughly 1-2 weeks. This weekend I'll be reviling my Duke wip to you guys, I think he's coming along quite well.

I've been out for quite a while now with a series of misfortunate events, starting with the breaking of my leg during my Christmas/new years skiing "expedition" to being sick twice since then. This has delayed all my projects and only recently have I been able to get back to what I love, but enough of my sob story, I've got new things to show you guys and girls on dakka dakka starting with my new conversion for when I want to load my archon out with a power spear (and yes I do realize I could magnetize the one I already have, though where's the fun in that?), then there's my long promised Duke, along with another one of my warriors (though the squad is done you'll have to wait to see all of them because I'm applying final touches), then my new airbrush compressor which I really enjoy ecause previously I had to use a regular air compressor which is loud and annoying. plus it's in my garage and in the winter it gets fairly cold in there, and in the summer it's hot as feth.

Really love the first model with the two scythes. Such a cool looking model and you have painted it so well.

My new airbrush came in, it's a badger model 175, the brush is 100 times better then my previous brush (SR-71) and is easier to maintain. Also I started painting a whole squad of warriors now that I have the idea of their paint scheme down. Also I made a second Haemonculus since I run dual Haemonculi in a squad of wracks in a raider which in it's self is a game changer (and a point whore), but that's beyond the point, which is that I actually have made successful strides with this army. At this rate I might be done by this next Christmas.
