I've been putting this model off for a long time because I didn't think I'd do it any justice, But I needed it for a tournament so I had to get it painted.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks.

No two ways about it, that's a nicely painted model.

Nice painting dude. Real nice.

But am I the only one to think this model is badly designed? I mean: the pose is kind of cheesy, the whole guy looks rather generic... tell me I'm not alone...

Yeah, the model's ancient, and it shows. Nice job with the painting, but I wish it were on a mini that deserved the paint job....

You are definitely not alone, Captain Tyco, Brother Corbulo and Mephistion are sorely in need of a remodelling!

Awesome work on this model though, looks real good, I like the extra height given by the base as well. Good work!

An excellent paintjob on a model that is a classic and still quite nice even by today's standards.

I shudder to think of what ridiculous pose GW would come up with if they tried to re-do this Jes masterpiece!

Great looking model. You have some crappy lighting (no offense) but the shadows and highlights still come through, especially his face. Looks awesome here, must look 10x better in person.

It's a classic model from a bygone GW era; one where models oozed character and atmosphere, not the horrific malformed pieces of plastic rubbish that pass for "characters" today.

Kids these days, sheesh...

I'm one of the ones who doesn't particularly like this model. Albeit, it is a classic. You've painted it wonderfully though. Really good work. The cape from the back looks amazing.
