I designed this Plasma Generator in Google Sketch Up.

I just got my design laser cut on 2mm MDF. I need to make a few changes then I will be getting 3-5 more of them.

I'm sure I can place the plans up. I'm tweaking them a bit.

The plastic rods are cocktail sticks. When I bought them I thought they where cylinders, but it works out just as well as the cylinder rods. Sometimes pictures on ebay are not exactly what they appear

Bravo! love the DoW Games and you have captured the image perfectly.
Might have to do one of these myself one day for our local board.

Where in the UK did you get this laser cut, and how much was it, if you don't mind me asking? I have some laser-cutting plans a-brewin' and am curious...

The Plasma Generator and the 6 crates (not pictured) ran me £5.00 including shipping. Bespoke orders are different, I guess depending on the size and stuff. If you use them could you mention my name and the plasma generator? Never hurts to butter up!

Yes I know my thread is two years old, I just thought I'd let everyone know that Wargame Model Mods are making my designs so if you like the plasma generator your can get your own. No I don't make any money off of this, I traded my designs for terrain.

You can get yours HERE

Well done!

It is amazing the amount of practical creativity that is being enabled by modern technology such as the laser-cutting on demand and also 3D printing. Both depend on 3D design software of course.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
