Heres my first banshee ive painted i think its not a bad model feel free to comment and leave feed back ive still got to finish the base.

not bad at all!
If i may, the layer of paint seems quite thick, try maybe to thin down just a little bit the paints.
Otherwise, the technique is great!

yeah the blue layers ddnt go as well as i hoped i cnt never get the right thickness for my paints its eaither to thick or to thin

Try just to dip a clean dry brush in water and get the paint on that brush, mix this two together.
That's about a right proportion.
Another option is to use an old paint pot and try with bigger amounts of paint and water. This way you get to have a more important amount of paint and get to reuse it in the future, plus you'll get to right proportions easier on larger amounts
Also, try to thin with windex, or window cleaner in general (in particular if you decide to make your own pot). Thins better and dries better.

Imagine that your mix of paint and water should be of the same texture as that of milk, you should see some small bubbles forming then it should be about right! And yeah, nice job for a first model!

Really like that color scheme. Will look cohesive with blue dire Avengers yet different enough too. I've been thinking of going yellow with my banshees but might just steal your scheme

Thanks darkapostle and yeah i also found the eldar models very fiddly aswell but all in all i dnt think it came out to bad my self a few things im not happy but still a not a bad out come for one of my first models .

Thanks i did start painting Jain Zar in this scheme but stoped for some reason ive still got half of my eldar army to do i hope to get it all done one day.
