I am currently making a Space Marine Army. The main color is blue with a orange and gray trim and details. I need help naming and coming up with an emblem for the chapter. I play with tactics similar to that of the Raven Guard. I use Drop Pods and Kayvaan Shrike is the HQ. Anyone have any ideas?

Blue Hawks? Based on bird association and colour. A Chapter Badge would help.

Indigo Impulse? Icon of a pulse from an oscillator or something? -^v-

I used the Ravenwing icon as my chapter emblem, mainly because I was too lazy to make my own and I liked that on the best out of what GW has done already. You can do something similar or pick up some shield icons from Warhammer Fantasy and use those.

That is probably easiest, even some second party miniature companies unrelated to warhammer. something cool looking you can ge a lot of

I was thinking something along the lines of birds. I was originally just going to do Raven Guard but since its my first army ever, i decided that black was not the way to start out my miniature wargaming career.

I know it's not an awesome name like 'hawk', 'falcon' or 'eagle', but you could try and take something from the latin: 'Sialia'.

I think it helps when naming and findng the symbol for your own chapter to have rough story for them. It may just be a succesor chapter so a variation off the orignal badge etc.

Order of the Tempest Falcon? Make it sound like something that is a specific discipline that your chapter follows? Cause, it doesnt necessarily have to be a specific thing! I'm currently working on a nurgle army, in which people normally keep to a plague themed name. But, I've gone with "Keepers of the Gravebound Pact". To give an example on non-specificity!

I thought about the latin name "Sialia" and i think i could use it for a the name of my HQ, instead of Shrike. Captain ____ Sialia

And as much as i like "Flesh Swords" *sneer*, i think i might have to not use that name.
