Hello all,
I am quite new to painting as mamon/ GUO is my first painted momstrous creature although it isn't finished yet.

I have been using the older citadel paints such as knarloc green and iyanden darksun.

I used knarloc green for the base coat and then i drybrushed the skin of mamon with iyanden darksun.

I still have to lightly drybrush the skin with screaming skull (i think it is one of the new paints) as well as other steps.

What do you think for a first time of painting warhammer models ?

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Looks good to me. A nice bright green slime for the tank, some rusted metal for the guns and tank, a good bone colour for the horn and a little bit of red and/or yellow for some of the pustules and I think you will have a winner

As Silver suggested, a brighter green on the goop inside the tank, and then after you've sealed it, give it a coat of 'Ard Coat, which will make it shiny.

You can paint your metals a bestial brown, then sponge bolt gun metal over it. Mix up some blazing orange and vermin brown and splotch it over the metal for rust ... then sponge over with more boltgun metal.
